Ryan Casper is a family man -- heart, body and soul. Living by the motto, “God, Family and Country,” his music is a reflection of instilled morals and values brought about by his parents’ teachings, of whom he describes as “Christ-Like,” and a wife, his life partner, who is selfless and supportive. Sharing his passion for music with his parents, his wife and their three young daughters, this genuine country soul looks to his internal support group for strength, encouragement and, perhaps most important in a music career, inspiration. “This whole process has been a family effort,” says Ryan. “I’ve been fortunate enough to have a wife and kids that are behind me 100% and parents that are involved in the business of my becoming a success on the path that I have chosen to follow. My family is God-sent!” A native of Gainesville, Georgia, Ryan’s love of performing formed at an early age when he began entertaining relatives at family gatherings. His love of song led him to pick up a guitar at 17; with the help of a high school friend, he learned a few basic chords. Relying on his own talent, Ryan learned to fill the gaps and sang “by request.” Concentrating his efforts for the last ten years to master the craft of songwriting and performing, Ryan teamed up with producer Kenny Royster and is poised to make his debut on country radio with the single “American Way.”  Written by Royster, the up-tempo single is simplistic in lyrics, easily understood and celebrates historical traditions--today. “The song follows my personal motto,” he introduces. “It’s the story of our founding fathers and the core values they built this country on. It’s for those who work in an office, a factory, on the farms and everything in between;  ‘American Way’ is THE definition of blue collar.”The single comes from his second studio recording, AIN’T LIFE GREAT, which features collaborations with such established songwriters as Jeff Pearson (“Love Without You”/“Maybe I’m the One Who’s Crazy”), Don Goodman (“Ol’ Red”/ “Ring On Her Finger, Time On Her Hands”), Royce Porter (“Ocean Front Property”/“Miami, My Amy”), and Will Robinson (“There’s No Way”/“Long As I Live”).  Ryan wrote or co-wrote nine of the 11 songs on the project including the tongue-in-cheek “Ain’t Life Great” and the ballad “Second Chance” which captures the raw emotion of a man who has realized the only way he will see his late wife again is by forming a stronger relationship with God. Ryan reaches deep into southern culture in the slammin’ tune “Down In the South,” a co-write with Jeff Carson (“Not On Your Love”/“The Car”). This “swampy, sweaty, sultry” song was inspired by a living handful of things that only happen in the south and is sure to be a country favorite.Mirroring his live show, Ryan’s music is energetic, heartfelt and reveals his jovial humor and honorable character. “I want to kick you in the teeth on the front end with lively lyrics and burning riffs reminiscent of southern rock and then rip your heart out with a powerful ballad while your teeth still hurt,” Ryan says in jest. “To get your engine revved even more, I’m going to give you a swift kick in the rear on the way out the door.”Along the way to this stage of his career, Ryan has opened for national acts Josh Turner, John Berry, John Anderson, T. Graham Brown, Billy Joe Royal and Exile. He has also performed with Nashville songwriters Bruce Burch ("Rumor Has It"/ "It's Your Call"), Alex Harvey (“Delta Dawn”/ “Reuben James”), Bob DiPiero (“American Made”/ “Take Me As I Am”) Wendell Mobley (“There Goes My Life”/ “I Melt”) and J.D. Martin (“Love Will Find It’s Way to You”/ “Now That I Found You”).  His cut “Stand Another Day” (from DUST OFF THE SHELF) was featured on the syndicated radio show “Lia” and “Those Days” was the only country single selected from 1,200 entries to be part of a compilation CD for LDS Specialties titled JUST BELIEVE. Ryan Casper…an All-American apple pie boy. His music is colorful, true to country tradition and faithfully delivered. “It’s music that is red, white and blue – It’s God, Family and Country.”

What you’d be surprised to know about Ryan Casper…

Ryan is a left-handed guitarist. "This looks weird to all other musicians. A high school buddy taught me a few chords and I learned the rest on my own." ?

Ryan served a full-time mission for his church in Arizona. "This was crucial for soul searching. I was able to get out on my own and confront challenges, hardships, successes, failures and disappointments. I learned true happiness is serving the Lord." ?

Ryan thinks he should try his hand at being an actor. "As much as I despise the Hollywood mentality, I think acting is an art that coincides with being an artist and a songwriter. You have to make people believe the unbelievable. Whether it’s on a stage or the silver screen, you have to turn the audience into believers!"

The Person BLESSED "I’m in a position to pursue my dream and passion. So many people don’t get that chance. My family is carrying me there and the people around me believe in and support me!"

PATRIOTIC "I have been paying more attention to politics as I’ve gotten older. I have three little girls now and I want them to know how great this country is and what being an American means." SPIRITUAL "My spirituality is the root and strength I pull from in times of trials and disappointments. I know that I am never alone and can always to speak to God." The Artist AUTHENTIC "My music is honest. I write about my own experiences or those of the people around me. Listen to my music and you’ll get to know me."

BOLD "I love the adventure of singing and performing. Each writing session or gig on the road holds new promise."

NEW TRADITIONAL "I’m not pop but I’m not part of the big belt buckle crowd either. My sound is a blend of modern and traditional. It’s a little bit of Garth and a little bit of Skynyrd with mustard and relish."
